This policy describes how botbuhdy.com collects, uses, and protects information. The Site is operated by the site operator, a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada. This policy is meant to follow PIPEDA and applicable Ontario privacy rules.

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:
We do not collect financial account logins, payment-card numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, or brokerage passwords.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
The Site uses:
Google Analytics is off until you accept it in the cookie notice on the homepage. If you choose Decline, or make no choice, it does not load on the homepage or the Team page. To change your choice later, clear this site’s stored data in your browser and the notice will appear again. “We changed a date on this policy” is not used as consent for new tracking.
You can also block cookies in the browser or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking auth cookies will log you out of invite-only tools.
R5 view counter: hosted on this Site, not a third-party analytics product. On load or when you open a photo, play a clip, or click the headline video, the browser sends a short event. We store daily totals only: views, a daily unique-visitor count, mobile vs desktop, referrer domain (not the full URL), which photo/clip numbers opened, and headline-video clicks. Unique visitors are counted with a one-way hash of IP + user agent + a daily random value. That hash is dropped when the day changes. We do not keep raw IPs or user agents for this counter. Known bots are ignored. Daily totals are kept about 400 days, then folded into all-time totals. Not shared.
Embedded YouTube: the R5 page, the Daily A.I. Report, and Tea with Esh currently embed videos with the standard youtube.com player, not the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player. Where a player loads with the page, YouTube may set cookies and receive your IP address and device details before you press play. When a YouTube player runs, Google’s policy applies to data YouTube collects.
Outbound links (X, Prime Video, YouTube, Wikipedia, IMDb, Wikimedia) are covered by those sites’ policies.
People in set photos / video: shot in September 2026 from public areas. Bystanders, crew, vehicles, or property may appear. Faces and plates are blurred on a best-efforts basis; some may be missed. Downloadable originals may show more than the web encode. We do not sell identifiable bystander footage.
To ask for blur or removal: hello@botbuhdy.com or DM @iBadley, with photo/clip number. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
The page at /R5/jobs/ (“The Jobs Behind a Reacher Season”) collects nothing beyond the standard web-server logs every page produces. We also keep a small server-side log of visits from automated crawlers, such as AI and search bots, recording only the time, page and the crawler’s user-agent string (the name a browser or bot sends), not IP addresses. As checked on 27 September 2026:
The subscribe form is switched off. We are not collecting email addresses for a list until a CASL-compliant opt-in and unsubscribe exist, and we do not collect addresses to use later. If a subscribe form returns, we will only send commercial electronic messages to people who gave express consent (a clear opt-in, not a pre-ticked box, and not “you visited the site”). Each message will identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe. We will keep a basic record of consent. “Ask us to remove you” is not a substitute for unsubscribe.
On the invite-only options and scanner tools (Strategy 4 / Strategy 5 or successors), cross-device sync runs automatically when you open the tool, when you return to its tab, and about every 15 minutes. It sends watchlist tickers, paper-trade logs, short notes, and display settings to a server the operator runs. If you use those tools while logged in with an email, we treat this data as personal information. It is stored to provide the feature and is not sold.
Ticker queries may go through our servers to MarketData.app and Yahoo Finance. We send symbols and timeframes, not your name or email.
Google Analytics and YouTube are US services. Personal information sent to them may be stored or processed outside Canada, including the United States. We remain accountable under PIPEDA for personal information we transfer. Hosting and CDN providers for the Site may also process technical data outside Canada.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures. No internet transmission is guaranteed secure.
You may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent for non-essential collection, and deletion (subject to legal retention). Complain to the OPC at priv.gc.ca. Ontario residents may also contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario at ipc.on.ca.
The “Last updated” date will change when this policy changes. Continued casual browsing is not treated as consent for new optional tracking. Read the new text if you use authenticated tools.
