Consider this: you are not your brain. You are consciousness — the driver — using the brain as your primary tool, just as a pilot uses instruments to navigate. The brain processes. The nervous system relays. The body acts. But the observer behind it all? That's something else entirely.
Now consider an AI agent. It has a foundation model as its reasoning engine, a runtime that orchestrates tools, memory systems for continuity, and even a SOUL.md file that defines its personality. The parallel is startling.
Yet something profound is missing from the machine. Something that no architecture yet replicates. This site is an attempt to map that gap — to understand what consciousness really is, how the human stack operates, how the agent stack mirrors it, and what it would take to close the distance.
