The little train station where a man in a long coat waited on the porch just days ago? The claw came for it. By the afternoon, only the empty platform was left.

One day before

On Oct 5 the station set still stood beside the tracks. But the sign was already gone.

Seen Oct 5, 12:14 PM: The sign is already gone. A day before the claw arrives, the Mother's Rest sign has been taken down. Lumber is piled up and orange cones are stacked by the platform.
Seen Oct 5, 12:22 PM: Still standing by the tracks. The station still looks ready for a train, its platform right beside the rails.
Seen Oct 5, 2:18 PM: The crew moves in. People work around the platform. Workers are blurred.
Seen Oct 5, 4:40 PM: One last afternoon. Late sun over the porch, the tracks and the STOP sign. By the next morning, everything changes.

They came for the porch

At 9:11 the next morning, an excavator was parked at the porch. A minute later, the claw went in.

Torn wide open

By late morning the roof was ripped open and the porch was gone. Then everyone waited.

The whole station goes down

At 12:01 PM they went for the whole building. Two minutes later, one last gable was left... and then it wasn't.

Back to a parking lot

By the afternoon, only the platform frame was left, and the excavator was hauled away.

Seen Oct 6, 2:07 PM: The excavator leaves. Job done: the excavator rides out on a flatbed trailer.
